How we work. Every comparison scores the same four things:
what it does to your knife, how clean it stays, what it asks of you, and
what it costs. When another material wins on one of them, we say so on the
page instead of hiding it. We link to retailers and may earn a commission,
which pays for the site and changes nothing about the scores.
